Dental Services

We are a general dental office. Of course, we do all phases of preventive dentistry including x-rays, cleanings and exams.

We do complete cosmetic work such as bondings (white fillings), crowns (caps), veneers, and bleaching.

We do most extractions, both simple and surgical. Referrals are made for some wisdom teeth and for some complicated situations.

We do most root canals. We do refer most molar (back teeth) root canals to an endodontist, a root canal specialist.

We replace teeth and enhance smiles with implants, bridges, precision partials and a combination of these. Just because you may be missing a few teeth does not mean everyone has to know! We can fill in your spaces and make them virtually undetectible.

No teeth at all? We have an excellant staff and denture lab with over 25 years of experience. Anything from a nice complete set of full dentures to implant supported dentures. We can greatly enhance and restore your chewing ability with the aid of implants. Implants are the only way to hold in a lower denture if you have no bone left. Ask us!
 

Our Office

My Dental Office first opened its' doors in August 2001. We have been growing steadily ever since.

Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00am- 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am -1:00pm. We take lunch from 1:00-2:00pm daily.

Our office is located in The Deerfield Mall 3656 West Hillsboro Blvd. 1 block west of Powerline on the South side of the road. We are in an outer building next to the Taco Bell.

We accept most insurances including all traditional insurances (Delta, Guardian, etc.), Aetna, Cigna,

Paragon, United Health Care, United Concordia, and MetLife PPO's, Carington, Ameriplan, MCNA and Signature discounted Fee Plans.

Our Staff

Dr. Monica Bliss Weick DDS
I am originally from Avon, OH. located just west of Cleveland, OH. In 1989, I graduated from John Carroll University with a Bacherlor of Arts & Sciences. I worked for three years doing laboratory research before I grew tired of never seeing any people. So I made a career change and went off to dental school at The Ohio State University. After graduating in 1996, I did a 2 year General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland, OH, while also working in a private practice. I sat for my Florida board exam in Spring 1998. I moved to Ft Lauderdale in 1998 and began seeing patients in two locations. I opened My Dental Office in August 2001. I am exicited to see our practice grow and see smiling faces as patients leave our office!

I am one of the few people born and raised in Florida. In 1994 I recieved dental assistant training from Concorde Career Institute in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. I am a married, mother of three. I have been a part of this office staff since December of 2003
